We're excited to unveil Calculations, a new feature in Parallel that allows you to perform operations based on selected responses in your templates, turning static data into actionable insights. This feature is perfect for those dealing with KYC, evaluations, or variable pricing contracts.
Consider a KYC form for Anti-Money Laundering:
- If a client indicates the payment will be made from "Afghanistan"
- Our new calculations feature can automatically add 2to the "Risk" variable, instantly marking the client asHigh Risk.
- The result of this calculation can even dictate what additional information you request, providing a dynamic, responsive experience.

Quickly detect inactive parallels 👀
We're thrilled to introduce
two brand-new columns for your Parallels list
, enhancing your control and efficiency.- Last Activity:This column tracks the number of days since the last modification or action within each parallel, helping you monitor and manage activity.
- Recipient's Last Activity:Similar to the previous column, this one focuses solely on the recipient's activity. It's perfect for gauging recipient engagement.
For instance, if a recipient hasn't accessed their parallel for 10 days, but you sent them a reminder the day before, the "Last Activity" column will display 1 day, while the "Recipient's Last Activity" column will show 10 days.
Not only can you monitor the time elapsed since the last activity, but you can also
sort by the most inactive parallels and save it as a view.

Now you can choose the order in which people will sign a Parallel document. Each signer will receive the document after the one before has signed, sequentially.
Also, prevent users from making mistakes when sending the signature 1️⃣ by setting the minimum number of signers and 2️⃣ by adding clear instructions to the signing process.
Now you can
edit the columns of the parallels table.
Add the columns you want, hide those you don't need, and arrange them in your preferred order. When you're done, remember to save everything in a view.

Among the existing options when searching for parallels, you can now
filter by signature status
. This makes it much easier to find signatures that have been completed, canceled or pending submission without having to search through the rest of the table one by one.Choose the signature status you are interested in, and those parallels that do not have the signature in that status will be discarded. This way, you will speed up the search for a parallel and quickly find out how many documents you already have signed or how many you have ready to send for signature.
